The successful candidate will ensure the efficient inventory management of goods movement (the monitoring and issuing of goods for subcontractors, the arrangement of goods with a stock location system, overseeing and managing procedures and the maintaining of records).

THE ROLE INVOLVES: 

All aspects of stock movements (inwards and outwards goods) as this role is an integral part of ensuring completion of projects providing solutions to their clients.   Major requirements of this role will:

Be involved directly and managing procedures related to dispatch, receiving, the retrival of stock as required, checking for completeness and the safe storing of inwards goods

Receiving, oversee dispatch of outwards goods and movement of goods by coordinating with relevant in-house staff and departments
Ensure correctly entered and maintained Inventory data as per the company’s the operational policies and procedures
Move inventory by scheduling goods to be moved to and from production, subcontractors and coordinating transfers for outward and inward processing where relevant for the completion of various projects
Undertake stock taking and reconciliation of stock, maintaining inventory within in-house systems
Promote Health and safety practices and ensure general housekeeping of stores and inwards/outwards goods areas are maintained

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Minimum 3+years in manufacturing production environment
  • A process driven attitude methodical approach with very good follow up skills and have the ability to prepare and make sure the appropriate documentation is processed accurately
  • To be a good communicator (excellent written and verbal skills)
  • Experience in inventory movement processing within a manufacturing production environment (will be advantageous)
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • A passion for problem solving and be a flexible thinker
  • A ‘can do’ approach and the ability to work under pressure when needed
  • Initiative by working to achieve meaningful results, achieving goals and act on opportunities to create value
