METALLURGICAL LABORATORY TESTING TECHNICIAN

Our client is an established company in the Destructive and Non-Destructive testing of metals industry is looking for a full time mechanical testing technician.

The role includes preparation and testing of mainly steel samples.

  • Applicants must have a machining background -particularly milling and lathe work.
  • Experience in Tensile, Charpy Impact, Bend & Hardness testing an advantage.
  • The successful applicant must have the ability to understand and work to AS/NZS, BS/EN, ISO, ASME IX and other Technical Standards.
  • The role would suit a mature worker who has good communicative skills, a good command of English and some computer literacy.
