This successful well established company now seeks experienced Mechanical Fitters. You must have minimum 3 years experience in mechanical engineering and be trade qualified.  Your excellent maintenance, diagnostic and fault finding skills will secure this position!

Join this leading manufacturing engineering company specializing in materials handling and conveyor application product now seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their busy team in their workshop. This well established successful company based on North Shore offer product solutions and services throughout New Zealand and Overseas.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Your relevant Mechanical Engineering Trade Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years proven ‘hands on’ work experience as a Maintenance Production Fitter in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Your competent work experience (maintenance, production fitting, diagnostic and fault finding skills)
  • Your ability to work from drawings and produce a high standard of work
  • Your ability and desire to work within a tightly knit team with minimum supervision
  • Your good time management skills
  • Your competent communication skills (a good command of the English language is essential)
  • Your proactive self-motivated and ‘can-do attitude’
  • Your logical and methodical approach
  • Must be physically healthy and fit
  • Your excellent attitude and sound understanding of safe working practices and their application in a manufacturing environment
  • Your ‘results focused positive attitude’ with an understanding of urgency
