Sales Engineer - With experience of the food processing industry (Winemaker, Dairy Process Engineer or Brewer)

 

Based in Penrose, Auckland with some out of town travel
Immediate start available.

Our client is a successful and long established privately owned company focused on the food processing industry in New Zealand. They specialise in supplying food grade pumps, valves, filters and other equipment.

 

An opportunity exists for a sales engineer selling pumps, valves and filters to the food processing sector in New Zealand.

 

If you have some experience within pump or filter sales, or you have worked as a brewer, winemaker or dairy process engineer and would be interested to transition over to a sales role, please get in contact about this job.

  • Must be a New Zealand resident and will have a current NZ driver’s license

The duties for this role will include;

  • Managing the sales activities for various sales territories around NZ, including some days out of Auckland each month
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing & meeting new clients
  • Hands on product demonstrations
  • Managing enquiries, proposals and orders from customers and develop them into new business opportunities.
  • Seeking new business opportunities by responding to new customers inquiries and the marketing of products and services
  • Taking responsibility for generating quotes/proposals for commercial equipment for engineers, mechanical contractors and owners, then working to close the sale.
