Seeking a confident, ambitious sales person preferably with knowledge of manufacturing techniques with an engineering background to join Sales Team for an Industry Leader. This company offers solutions for the manufacture of conveyors and material handling equipment. If you have come from a trade background (related field in transmission, bearings or similar) and enjoy sales this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.

About the role ..... This exciting role requires someone who has a good interest and understanding of engineering. The role provides internal Sales support in all aspects of providing excellence in providing technical support, ensuring all customers queries, both casual and technical are responded to in a timely manner, determining their requirements. You will have the ability to communicate at all levels and have the opportunity to display your initiative. Whilst this role is an ‘internal’ sales position you may be required to attend both on-site and off-site meetings. Reporting to the Directors you will thrive working in a busy team environment.
About you ..... The successful candidate will have:
Previous sales experience specifically with engineering products (trade background advantageous)
Keenness to learn as product training will be provided
An eye for detail with excellent PC abilities (Excel and Word skills)
An understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques
Understanding of industry standards and safety regulations
Ability to self-manage in an environment where multiple priorities compete for your time
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levels, both internally and externally
