An opportunity for a confident, ambitious sales person with comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing techniques with an engineering background to join Sales Team for an Industry Leader offering solutions for the manufacture of conveyors and material handling equipment. Utilise your technical sales engineering knowledge and skills, be rewarded!
Join their success story ..... This well established NZ owned company specialises in the design and manufacture of conveyors and components for the materials handling industry. Due to company growth this is your opportunity to join their passionate hardworking sales team in a senior capacity.
About the role ..... The role provides internal Sales support in all aspects of products and project queries and the generation of quotes. You will also be managing internal processes including handover of projects to design, preparing project paperwork, liaising and working with all stakeholders on project progress and timing/deadlines. In conjunction with management, you will implement and maintain systems for; the filing of quotes, project time line documentation and project files. This exciting role requires someone who has a good understanding of manufacturing techniques, can gather client information/specifications, process client requirements. Whilst this role is an ‘internal’ sales position you may be required to attend both on-site and off-site meetings. Reporting to the Directors you will thrive working in a busy team environment.
About you ..... The successful candidate will have:
A high level of mechanical knowledge, a tertiary or trade qualification (advantageous)
Minimum 6 years’ sales experience specifically with engineering products.
Ability to read Autocad and 2D drawings
Ability to read 3D models, Solidworks (advantageous)
High level understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques
Excellent ability to use a PC with Excel/Word skills
High level verbal presentation skills
Understanding of industry standards and safety regulations
Ability to self-manage in an environment where multiple priorities compete for your time
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levels, both internally and externally
